Community health centers (CHCs) in Kenya face challenges in improving service delivery efficiency, necessitating a methodical approach to evaluate and enhance their performance. A stratified random sampling strategy will be employed to select participating CHCs. Data collection will include service utilization rates and resource allocation patterns using statistical software for analysis. An initial sample revealed that CHCs serving rural areas had lower service utilization rates compared to urban centers, suggesting a need for targeted interventions. The randomized field trial design allows for the identification of factors influencing efficiency gains in CHC systems, facilitating evidence-based policy recommendations. Targeted training programmes and resource distribution strategies should be implemented based on findings from this study to optimise CHC performance. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
