This article discusses the problems of preparing cadastral documentation — boundary and technical plans, which subsequently affect the quality of cadastral work, and also proposes changes aimed at improving the quality of preparation of cadastral documentation, taking into account existing trends, including through improving the service “Personal Account of a Cadastral Engineer” on the Rosreestr portal. The results of the study will primarily be relevant both for cadastral activities and for the system of cadastral registration and registration of rights, since they will improve the efficiency of such public services.
