Community health centers in Ethiopia face challenges in providing cost-effective healthcare services. A quasi-experimental design was employed, utilising data from four randomly selected regions across Ethiopia. The study analysed costs associated with service delivery and outcomes in terms of patient satisfaction scores. The analysis revealed that the average cost per health centre for delivering services was 200 USD per quarter, with a confidence interval ranging from 180 to 220 USD, indicating variability but generally stable costs over time. Community health centers in Ethiopia demonstrate potential as cost-effective healthcare providers, though further evaluation is needed to refine their operational models. Investment strategies should be tailored towards improving service delivery efficiency and patient engagement programmes.
