We present a formal derivation of cosmic birefringence — the anomalous rotation of the linear polarisation of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) recently measured by the Atacama Cosmology Telescope (β ≈ 0. 20°–0. 35°) — within the ASR Framework (Self-Referential Universe) integrated with the Primordial Mother Wave theory. We demonstrate that this rotation emerges inevitably from a single ontological axiom of self-referentiality, U = F (U), without introducing any additional exotic fields or free parameters. The rotation angle is predicted by the formula βASR = αk/ (2φ), depending solely on three constants: the fine-structure constant α = 1/137, the cosmic harmonic constant k = 1. 47, and the golden ratio φ = 1. 6180… The predicted value β ≈ 0. 190° is fully compatible with the observed range. Unlike competing axion-based models, which require at minimum two free parameters, the ASR framework contains zero free parameters: the golden ratio emerges as the unique real self-referential number, a necessary mathematical consequence of the foundational axiom. A self-consistency test recovers k = 1. 470 from the predicted angle, closing the self-referential loop. The paper includes two mathematical appendices formalizing the Chern-Simons structure and the normalisation of the coupling constant, and generates falsifiable predictions testable by the Simons Observatory (2026–2027) and CMB-S4.
