Microfinance programmes have been implemented in various regions to support entrepreneurship among female entrepreneurs, but their effectiveness varies. A qualitative approach was employed through semi-structured interviews with female entrepreneurs who participated in microfinance programmes, supplemented by document analysis. Female entrepreneurs reported an average increase in business revenue of 32% during the study period, with significant improvements in operational efficiency and customer base. Microfinance provided key financial support to enhance entrepreneurial activities among female entrepreneurs in northern Ghana.
