Community health centers (CHCs) play a crucial role in healthcare delivery in Rwanda. However, their effectiveness and efficiency have not been systematically evaluated. Panel data from to was analysed, including 75 CHCs. The econometric model used was a fixed effects regression model: Y₈ₓ = eta₀ + eta₁X₈ₓ + uᵢ, where Y represents clinical outcomes and X includes factors such as patient volume, staffing levels, and service quality. The analysis revealed that increasing patient volumes by 5% led to a 3. 2% improvement in average treatment success rates (95% CI: 1. 8%, 4. 6%). This study provides evidence on the impact of CHC operational parameters on clinical outcomes, offering insights for policy makers. Policymakers should consider strategies to optimise patient flow and enhance service quality within CHCs to improve clinical success rates.
