The PATTERN (Empowering Open and Responsible Research and Innovation) project addresses a critical need in the European Research Area, by equipping researchers at all stages of their careers with skills in Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and Open Science (OS). Since January 2023, the project has been developing and piloting training modules in 8 thematic areas: Open Access, FAIR RDM, Citizen Science, Research Integrity, Gender Equality and Non-Discrimination, Science Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation of Results, and Research Management and Leadership. This poster describes how training resources have been co-created in the thematic area of FAIR Research Data Management (RDM), focusing on a collaboration between thematic leaders DANS in the Netherlands and partners at the Ruđer Bošković Institute in Croatia. The poster was first presented at the International Digital Curation Conference Conference in February 2026 (IDCC 2026): https://www.dcc.ac.uk/events/idcc26. The poster explains: How the project partners co-created and continually improved innovative training in FAIR RDM The core FAIR RDM training portfolio, incorporating Project Based Learning (PBL) How the training materials can be accessed, both as slide decks within Zenodo and as interactive E-Learning modules in OpenPlato This poster was an output of the PATTERN project (Grant Agreement No 101094416).
