Household recycling behaviour in Lagos City, Nigeria, is a significant aspect of waste management strategies aimed at reducing environmental impacts and enhancing community participation. This study employs a mixed-method approach, integrating qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys. Data collection will involve structured questionnaires distributed across various Lagos neighborhoods to gather data on recycling habits, barriers, and motivations. This framework provides insights into designing effective recycling intervention programmes that consider both behavioural and community engagement aspects. Based on the findings, it is recommended to integrate school-based education with regular household workshops to sustain long-term behaviour change in Lagos City's households. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
