Metal Additive Manufacturing (AM) is revolutionizing the production of high-performance, complex parts by enabling layer-bylayer fabrication of metal components directly from digital designs. The technology offers advantages in part customization, material efficiency, design flexibility, and sometimes cost saving. This paper reviews recent advancements in metal AM processes, materials, and applications, highlighting its benefits in industries.Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM) is a methodology that optimizes design to maximize the unique capabilities of Additive Manufacturing (AM).On the other hand each AM technology has each DfAM, they are actually similar, but some points are absolutely different. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the capabilities and limitations of metal AM, underscoring its transformative role in modern manufacturing.
