This study analyzes the distribution of tourists according to the purpose of travel in Albania for the year 2024. The research aims to identify the structural composition of tourist mobility by examining the relative weight of personal and business travel categories. The analysis is based on official secondary statistical data, including the total number of trips and their classification by travel purpose, both within and outside Albania. A descriptive and comparative statistical methodology, expressed in percentage terms, is employed to ensure objective measurement and proportional comparison across travel categories. The use of percentage-based analysis enables a clear evaluation of the relative importance of each travel purpose within the overall mobility structure, without applying econometric models or inferential statistical testing. The study provides a systematic quantitative assessment of travel behavior patterns in 2024 and contributes to a clearer understanding of the structural distribution of tourist movements. The findings serve as an empirical basis for further research on mobility trends and tourism development dynamics.
