District hospitals in Ethiopia play a vital role in healthcare delivery but face challenges related to system efficiency and yield improvement. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including surveys and observational studies. Data were analysed using regression analysis to assess yield improvements. In one district hospital, there was a significant Y = 0. 6X + 3 improvement in treatment efficacy, with robust standard errors of ±0. 1 indicating the reliability of the findings. The quasi-experimental design proved effective in measuring yield improvements and identified specific areas requiring intervention to enhance system efficiency. District hospitals should adopt a patient flow management strategy based on empirical data from this study, with further research recommended to validate these insights across different regions. district hospitals, Ethiopia, quasi-experimental design, yield improvement, regression analysis
