The relationship between the basic Euclidean dimensions three-dimension (3D) and the perspectives of their representations along a two-dimensional (2D) scheme has been investigated on the basis of a painting.A postulated hidden extension toward a 4D simulation within a pseudo-3D perspective centered on vanishing point(s) was examined in a comprehensive way. This 2D academic work and its physical aspect reading connote a four-dimensional (4D) space, which is complemented by a temporal dimension, suggesting temperature and energy as derived properties. The vision is extended for specific elements and their life cycles. The physical reading is enriched by a metaphysical one. Both readings might be compared considering the 4D space coexisting with the 3D classical space. However, a specific approach is required to extend to the 4D space from the physical to the metaphysical case; it is not a strictly mathematical extension, but a sense of transcendence.
