District hospitals in Kenya have been identified as critical for public health, yet their performance varies significantly. A Bayesian hierarchical model was applied to analyse data from multiple districts, accounting for the hierarchical structure of data. The analysis indicated that implementing standardised care protocols reduced infection rates by an average of 25% (95% credible interval: 18-34%). Bayesian hierarchical modelling provided a nuanced understanding of risk reduction strategies in district hospitals, highlighting the effectiveness of standardization. Further studies should explore scalability and sustainability of these interventions across different regions and healthcare systems. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
