Overview of the geochemical data landscape in Europe and globally. This presentation provides an introduction to the OneGeochemistry initiative and the state-of-the-art in the geochemical data community, with examples from the DIGIS and EarthChem data systems (including the GEOROC and PetDB databases, the EarthChem Library and the DIGIS Geochemical Data Repository hosted at GFZ Data Services). Particular focus is given to standard development together with the geochemical community, societies, journal editors and publishers, as well as through WorldFAIR, resulting in best practice recommendations, data templates and machine-actionable vocabularies. Finally, potential avenues for integration of more geochemical data services in EPOS are explored. Presented at EPOS Days 2026 in Cagliari, Sardinia.
