In the context of the SUSTRACK project, the management of innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) has been a central element for ensuring that project results can be effectively exploited and sustained beyond the project’s lifetime. From the beginning, the consortium applied a structured strategy and methodology for IPR management, aligning innovation activities with the overarching objective of supporting Europe’s transition from linear, fossil-based systems to sustainable circular and bio-based alternatives. This deliverable constitutes the Final Exploitation and Sustainability Plan (ESP) of SUSTRACK. It provides a comprehensive account of the consortium’s approach to IPR and innovation management, detailing the methodology applied, the assets identified, and the strategies developed for their protection and exploitation. The report presents the final portfolio of Key Exploitable Results (KERs) and outlines concrete exploitation pathways, target groups, protection measures, and partner-level commitments to ensure long-term uptake and impact. The final ESP is the concluding version of this plan, following the Initial Exploitation and Sustainability Plan (D6.3, submitted in M6). Building on this earlier iteration, it now consolidates the definitive exploitation strategies, including individual and asset-based plans, and provides evidence of the consortium’s actions to strengthen exploitation readiness. By integrating these elements, the final ESP sets out a clear roadmap for sustaining and valorising SUSTRACK’s outputs beyond the project duration. It demonstrates how the results will continue to inform policy processes, support research and innovation, foster industrial transformation, and contribute to societal transitions towards a circular bioeconomy in line with the European Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan.
