The article examines the unity of the legal space as a systemic characteristic of legal regulation, understood as the coherence of legal principles, normative prescriptions, and law-enforcement practice in their interrelation. It argues that construing regulation solely as authoritative state intervention fails to capture its legal nature and obscures the proper determination of the limits of legislative intervention. The paper highlights legal certainty, proportionality, and uniform application of law as key benchmarks for maintaining the integrity of the legal order while preserving the autonomy of legal subjects and the effectiveness of legal instruments. Particular attention is given to procedural mechanisms of legal protection and the consistency of jurisdictional decisions as conditions for sustaining the unity of the legal space in the context of integration processes and cross-cultural legal communication.
