Abstract

Presentation from the conference "Financing adult learning: The role of public funding" displaying Cedefop research on financing adult learning/CVET. Conference information: In response to the European commitment to increasing adult participation in learning, this conference aimed to provide an overview of the range of funding instruments available across the EU Member States, and to discuss the future role of public (co-) financing of adult learning. The debate focused on individual learning accounts and training funds, based on the results of dedicated Cedefop research projects. Related projects: Financing VET The project's objective is to monitor EU member states’ strategies and mechanisms for financing vocational education and training (VET) and to investigate their effectiveness and efficiency. This site provides information on investment in VET and on developments in VET funding systems and instruments.
