Objective: This study was conducted to determine the Turkish validity and reliability of the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Anxiety Scale. Methods: The sample of the methodological study consisted of 401 patients treated in the Atatürk University Health Research and Application Centre and the Erzurum City Hospital chest diseases clinic. The Descriptive Characteristics Form, COPD Anxiety Scale, COPD Assessment Test (CAT), Modified Medical Research Council Scale (mMRC), and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) were used as data collection tools. Item-total correlation, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin test, Bartlett's Sphericity test, test-retest reliability, parallel forms reliability, and Cronbach's alpha coefficient were calculated.
