This study aims to determine the moderating role of organizational support in the effect of proactive personality on innovative work behavior. The study used quantitative research methods to apply a questionnaire form to 201 employees of a non-governmental organization operating in Erbil/Iraq. SPSS Process Macro and AMOS statistical analysis programs were used to test the research data. It was determined that organizational support has a moderating role in the effect of proactive personality on idea generation and idea realization, which are the sub-dimensions of innovative work behavior. The research findings reveal that the effect of proactive personality on innovative work behavior increases positively with the increase in organizational support. As a result of the research, various suggestions were made for researchers and field practitioners.
