Traditional physics believes that light is only a form of electromagnetic radiation. However, based on the laws of cosmic cycle and mass-energy conversion, this paper proves that light is the most fundamental unit of energy in the universe and the origin of all matter. The so-called "elementary particles" such as electrons, protons, and neutrons are all formed by the condensation and frequency-locking of photons. Mass is essentially the "locked energy" of light, and the essence of mass-energy conversion is the mutual transformation between free photons (energy) and confined photons (matter). This paper redefines the nature of light, subverts the traditional understanding of micro-particles, and lays the most fundamental foundation for the cosmic cycle unified theory.
