Standard energy balance models of the global climate system treat the feedback parameter λ and forcing intercept κ as stationary constants. We relax this assumption and estimate λ and κ jointly via sliding-window linear regression over the period 1880–2025, using NASA GISTEMP v4 temperature anomaly data and a composite radiative forcing record (NOAA AGGI 1979–2024; Law Dome ice core CO₂ reconstruction 1880–1978).
