The article is devoted to the study of industrial objects of the XIX-XX centuries in the city of Vyborg belonging to the Finnish period, as well as their role in the formation of the cultural heritage of the region. The main aim of the work is to analyze the development of Vyborg's industry, to identify key characteristics and definitions of industrial sites, to compile an inventory of the sites, to identify their architectural and functional features, and to assess the current state of the buildings and the potential for revitalization. The methods used in the research included historical analysis, archival document search, field survey and mapping of the identified sites. Special attention was paid to the interaction of industrial buildings with the urban environment and their impact on the socio-economic development of the region in the process of city formation. As a result of this work, the data on the main industrial objects of Vyborg will be systematized, their architectural, historical and functional features will be identified, and recommendations for their preservation and integration into the modern urban context will be proposed. The study may be of significance for the preservation of the historical heritage of Vyborg and other small towns with Finnish industrial architecture. It can contribute to the expansion of knowledge about the industrial heritage of Northwest Russia and can offer practical approaches to the preservation of objects that have historical and cultural value. The results of the work can be used to develop strategies for the development of cities with a rich industrial past, which is a topical issue for urban planning practice and the preservation of Russia's cultural heritage.
