The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has been framed for landmark reforms in Indian education system which is being introduced after more than three decades. It seeks to reimagine and revamp the education system by promoting equity, inclusivity, skill development and holistic growth of learners with student centric approach for ultimate goal of synergizing the concept of Developed India i.e. Viksit Bharat by 2047. We have endeavourd to critically examine the key provisions of NEP 2020, including structural reforms and effective implementation in school education, emphasis on vocational training, multilingualism, integration of technology and restructuring of higher education. Further, it also evaluates the opportunities and challenges associated with implementation, such as funding, teacher training and the digital divide along with the role of NEP 2020 in establishing the concept of inclusiveness so that education may be ensured for all in the country. Drawing from contemporary literature and global comparisons, the study highlights both the potential promises and impediments of NEP 2020. The outcome of present research review communication suggests that, regardless of the visionary approach of this education policy, its successful execution demands a robust planning, strong political will, financial commitment and teacher empowerment so that the goals already set may be achieved. It has also been ventured to explore the feasibility of various aspects of NEP 2020 regarding inclusiveness of education for all.
