The Russian automotive market in 2025 is undergoing a profound structural transformation, driven by geopolitical changes, sanctions restrictions and the departure of leading Western auto manufacturers, which creates an urgent need to develop comprehensive mechanisms for improving the competitiveness of motor vehicle trade at national level. The study focuses on the development of an integrated mechanism, combining state support instruments and initiatives of economic entities aimed at ensuring transparency in trade processes and strengthening consumer loyalty to domestic and localized brands. The scientific novelty of the research is in the complex conceptualization of a mechanism for improving competitiveness, integrating digital transformation of trade processes with instruments of state regulation and extended guarantee obligations, which forms a qualitatively new model of interaction between the participants of the automotive market. The practical significance of the work consists in developing specific measures, the implementation of which will improve the competitiveness of Russian companies and the market as a whole, ensure transparency in transactions and performance of guarantee obligations, and also to form a sustainable loyalty of consumers to the localized brands in conditions of structural reset industry. The mechanism proposed in this paper will improve the competitiveness of companies and the market as a whole, increase transparency in deal making and execution of after-sales service and guarantee obligations, and also increase loyalty and trust to brands.
