The present deliverable D5.1: Pilots plan, operation and evaluation – first sprint constitutes the first reporting iteration of Work Package 5 (WP5). It documents the outcomes of the "First Sprint" (M7-M15) and contributes directly to the fulfilment of the primary objectives of WP5: O5.1: To construct a model for evaluating acceptance and trust, specifically for AI deliberations, and devise a method to evaluate usability. O5.2: To develop a concrete evaluation plan for each pilot site. O5.3: To pilot results in real-life scenarios (focusing in this sprint on internal validation and infrastructure readiness). The aim of the deliverable is to (a) present the detailed context and operational planning for the four pilot sites, defining their transition to AI-enabled processes, and (b) to establish the evaluation methodology and report the results of the initial internal testing of the project’s socio-technical infrastructure.
