Abstract

Fatigue is a result that leads to local or generalized damage. The dental cement used in the fixation of the dental post will be exposed to stresses that could cause plastic deformation, resulting in severe plastic deterioration. Decementation is the eventual event. We want to compare the fatigue life of the cement embedding the post to investigate the difference between the plastic and metallic posts.
