The rapid growth of the elderly population has created an urgent need for intelligent systems that support independent and safe living. This paper presents a smart home framework designed specifically for helpless elderly individuals who require continuous assistance but prefer to remain in a familiar home environment. The proposed system integrates Internet of Things (IoT) devices, sensor networks, and artificial intelligence to monitor health conditions, detect emergencies, and automate daily activities. Key features include real-time health monitoring, fall detection, voice-controlled appliances, and automated alerts to caregivers or medical services during critical situations. The system also emphasizes user-friendly interaction, ensuring that elderly users with limited technical knowledge can operate it easily. By combining affordability, reliability, and scalability, the solution aims to reduce dependency on constant human supervision while improving the overall quality of life. This approach not only enhances safety and comfort but also promotes dignity and independence among elderly individuals.
