The present study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of a polyherbal antitussive syrup intended for respiratory relief. The syrup was prepared using herbal ingredients such as Tulsi, Mulethi, Ginger, and Vasaka, known for their bronchodilator, expectorant, and cough-suppressant properties. The prepared formulation was evaluated for physicochemical parameters including pH, viscosity, organoleptic properties, and stability. The results showed that the syrup possesses acceptable quality characteristics and significant potential for relieving cough and respiratory discomfort. Being herbal in nature, it is expected to have minimal side effects compared to synthetic cough syrups.
