Low-Dimensional Cognition's Self-Imposed Limitations: A Metatheoretical Diagnosis of the Dilemmas in Modern Scientific Methodology and a Paradigm Elevation Proposal

Modern science has long been trapped in cycles of “operationalist suspension” and “conceptual magic” at its core frontiers such as quantum measurement, dark matter and dark energy, and the hard problem of consciousness. This paper diagnoses the current situation as a systemic predicament of low-dimensional cognition: human cognition is confined to a 3+1 dimensional projection plane constituted by three major presuppositions — objective realism, low-dimensional reducibility, and linguocentrism — attempting to dissect 64-dimensional ontological reality with low-dimensional logic, thereby generating cognitive artifacts such as “explanatory gaps” and “incommensurability” when touching high-dimensional boundaries. Based on the four core axioms of YuanXian Theory — True Circle Self-Consistency (TCSC), Conservation of the Universal Factor, Unique Spacetime Manifold (T^64 Torus), and Self-Referential Mind Field Generation (SRM) — this paper argues that: (1) the physical world is a low-dimensional projection of the 64-dimensional torus T^64 onto the 4-dimensional perceptual plane; (2) consciousness and physics are complementary internal and external perspectives of the same self-referential field dynamics, and the gap is a projection artifact rather than an objective rupture; (3) mathematical structures (such as the critical line of Riemann zeros) are the necessary arithmetic signatures of T^64 topological symmetry. All core derivations of the theory have been formally verified in Lean 4 and Coq, advancing it from philosophical speculation to a computable, auditable, and falsifiable scientific framework.
