The contemporary global corporate landscape today is marked by economic uncertainties, evolving work norms, technological disruption, and heightened stressors that challenge employees' ability to maintain a healthy work–life balance. This article examines the psychological implications of these turbulent times, evaluates theoretical frameworks explaining work–life balance phenomena, conducts a meta-analysis of recent empirical research, and explores the role of mindfulness and meditation as coping mechanisms to mitigate stress. Findings indicate that while structural and organizational policies can significantly influence work–life balance outcomes, individual psychological strategies such as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) play a complementary role in promoting well-being. The article concludes with recommendations for practitioners and scholars, and outlines avenues for future research in this critical domain.
