CollabCode AI is a browser-based real-time collaborative coding platform designed to combine team programming, AI-assisted development, and academic integrity monitoring within a single unified environment. The system supports both collaborative coding sessions and secure exam-based programming assessments through a dual-mode architecture. Built using React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and Socket.IO, the platform enables live code synchronization, multi-language code execution, role-based access control, and integrated communication features. A key contribution of the platform is its multi-agent AI assistance system powered by the Google Gemini API. Specialized AI agents provide functionality such as bug detection, code review, optimization, documentation generation, and code generation directly within the coding workspace. During examination mode, AI and chat features can be selectively disabled by instructors to preserve assessment integrity. The platform also introduces an integrated academic integrity framework that includes automated plagiarism analysis and passive keystroke-based forensic monitoring. Student coding activity is recorded through periodic snapshots, allowing the system to detect suspicious paste events and analyze coding behavior during online examinations. Pairwise plagiarism detection is performed using semantic AI-based comparison techniques capable of identifying structural similarities between code submissions. CollabCode AI aims to bridge the gap between modern collaborative development tools and educational examination systems by providing a scalable, browser-native, and extensible platform suitable for both learning and professional collaborative programming environments.here is repo linkgithub.com/Darshan-h2004/collabcode-ai
