This article examines the linguodidactic significance of using paremiological units in teaching English. Paremiological units such as proverbs, sayings, and aphorisms play an important role in developing learners’ linguistic competence, communicative skills, and cultural awareness. The study analyzes the educational potential of proverbs in vocabulary enrichment, pronunciation practice, grammar instruction, and the formation of intercultural communication skills. Special attention is given to the role of paremiological expressions in increasing students’ motivation and improving speaking abilities in English language learning. The article also discusses effective methods of integrating paremiological units into the language teaching process.
