Employee attrition has become a major challenge for organizations across different sectors, affecting productivity, increasing costs, and disrupting overall performance. This study aims to analyze the key causes, impact, and possible retention strategies related to employee attrition. The research is based on primary data collected from 60 respondents working in various sectors such as IT, banking, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail. A structured questionnaire using a 5-point Likert scale was used to measure factors like salary satisfaction, career growth, work environment, job satisfaction, and employee intention to leave. Various statistical tools such as descriptive analysis, cross tabulation, Chi-square test, correlation analysis, and multiple regression were used to analyze the data. The results indicate that a significant number of employees show a high intention to leave their organizations. Among all factors, overall job satisfaction, salary satisfaction, and career growth were found to be the most influential factors affecting employee attrition. The study concludes that employee attrition is influenced by multiple factors, especially dissatisfaction in salary, lack of career opportunities, poor recognition, and work-life imbalance. It also suggests that organizations should focus on effective HR strategies such as better compensation, career development programs, and a positive work environment to reduce attrition.
