The article examines the problem of diagnosing students’ tolerant behavior, which is gaining particular importance in modern conditions due to globalization, intercultural interaction, and the need to educate a person ready for constructive dialogue. An analysis of psychological-pedagogical and methodological literature has been conducted, in which tolerance is presented as an integrative quality of personality, including cognitive, emotional-value, and behavioral components. Various methodologicalapproaches and diagnostic tools used in domestic and foreign practice have been identified. It emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach that allows combining quantitative and qualitative research methods.
