This paper is part of a coherent research program developing an informationally emergent physical framework. P18 analyzes mechanisms of sector selection and symmetry breaking within the emergent SU(2) gauge framework. Building on the non-Abelian structure and Yang–Mills dynamics derived in previous papers, the work shows how specific physical sectors are dynamically selected through stability and coherence criteria. The paper clarifies how effective symmetry breaking arises without introducing external breaking terms, linking the emergence of distinct interaction sectors to underlying informational organization. This provides the conceptual basis for the emergence of differentiated physical interactions and particle-like structures in later developments of the framework. While this paper can be read independently, its full role is understood only within the complete sequence of papers (P00–P32).
