The article examines theoretical and practical aspects of developing a mechanism for improving the efficiency of information and analytical support for local self-government in the context of digitalization. The relevance of the study is substantiated by the growing volume of data, fragmentation of existing information systems, and the need to enhance the quality of managerial decision-making. The paper analyzes scientific approaches to the development of information and analytical systems, monitoring tools, and intelligent decision-support technologies. The author proposes a conceptual framework of the mechanism, including organizational, technological, and institutional components. Special attention is given to the creation of a unified digital platform, data integration, the use of big data and artificial intelligence technologies, and the development of analytical competencies within local authorities. The role of regulatory frameworks and data visualization tools is also highlighted. It is concluded that the implementation of the proposed mechanism contributes to improving the efficiency of municipal governance, ensuring sustainable territorial development, and strengthening interaction between government and society
