Spin-dependent Glauber theory can be used to test spin amplitudes of the pp and pn elastic scattering by means of comparison of calculations of spin observables of the pd elastic scattering with the corresponding measurements. Spin observables of the pd elastic scattering Aₘ^p, Aₘ^d, {Aₘₘ}, {Cₘ, ₘ}, {Cₘₘ, ₘ} in the forward hemisphere can be obtained at the NICA energies from the corresponding observables of the reaction dd npd, when measured at the conditions of the applicability of the impulse approximation. It is shown here by Monte-Carlo simulations that such measurements of the reaction dd npd are possible at the first stage of the SPD project at c. m. s. energies {{s₃₃}} = 8- 16 GeV and corresponding four momenta transfer squared | t | from 0. 2–0. 9 (GeV/c) 2 up to \, 1. 5- 2 (GeV/c) 2.
