This research aims to explore the effects of a visual health education model on postoperative care in glaucoma patients.
120 glaucoma surgery patients were randomly assigned to control and observation groups, each with 60 patients.
The control group received standard verbal education, while the observation group used visual education techniques such as videos, brochures, demonstrations, and VR simulations.
Postoperative knowledge, self-care ability, complication rates, and satisfaction were compared between the two groups.
The observation group scored higher on health knowledge and self-care ability.
Complication rates were lower in the observation group.
Patient satisfaction was significantly higher in the observation group.
