The purpose of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of aquafitness methodology in the physical training of male students. Research methods and organization. The study involved students aged 18–25. The duration of the pedagogical experiment was 12 months. The experimental group used the developed aquafitness methodology, while the control group participated in classes as part of the elective course in the discipline "Physical Education" (module "Swimming"). Pedagogical tests, functional tests, anthropometric methods, and bioimpedance analysis were used. Research results and conclusions. A statistically significant improvement in physical fitness indicators was observed in the experimental group. Positive changes in body composition were identified, including a decrease in fat mass and an increase in muscle mass. Positive dynamics of anthropometric indicators were also noted. It has been proven that the aquafitness method is an effective means of comprehensive impact on the physical fitness and morphofunctional condition of students and can be recommended for implementation in the educational process.
