The article discusses the problems of developing management decisions for companies in conditions of dynamism and uncertainty in the environment. The key problems of the traditional approach have been identified: incomplete diagnosis, lack of feedback, fragmented data, informal risk assessment, lack of linkage of risks with economic growth, reactive nature of management. A set of recommendations is proposed: formalization of the process, a register of management decisions, a risk scale and a risk-adjusted growth metric.
