This is the most speculative document in the Coherence Cosmology conceptual notes series. It does not derive the value of the cosmological constant, does not resolve the cosmological constant problem, and does not produce testable predictions that differ from the standard cosmological model. What this document offers is a single, narrow conceptual direction: that dark energy — the energy of the vacuum responsible for the accelerating expansion of the universe — may correspond structurally to the baseline coherence density of Uₜotal: the minimum structural content required for the global antichain condition to be maintained across all local structures simultaneously. The three potential points of contact are: 1. Cosmic expansion as structural configuration, not growth: in Coherence Cosmology, Uₜotal is already complete — a static crystallized whole. The expansion of the universe is not Uₜotal growing. It is the structural configuration of decreasing mutual recognizability V (L2, L1) between local structures across the inter-section order. What we call cosmic expansion is our traversal of sections in which local structures become less recognizable to each other. 2. Dark energy as baseline coherence density: existence requires coherence. The global antichain condition requires actual structural content to form an antichain over. A completely empty Uₜotal cannot maintain the antichain condition. The minimum structural content required for coherent existence may correspond to what we observe as the energy of the vacuum — dark energy. Lambda > 0 corresponds to baseline coherence density > 0. The smallness of Lambda may reflect the gap between the minimum structural content required for coherent existence and the actual structural content of Uₜotal. 3. Accelerating expansion as coherence preserved locally: as sections proceed in the inter-section order, mutual recognizability between distant local structures decreases. Yet the coherence condition continues to hold for each local structure independently. The accelerating expansion is the structural expression of Uₜotal’s internal order: local structures become more structurally isolated while each maintains its own coherence independently. This document is more speculative than QG Hints, YM Hints, NS Hints, and DM Hints. The contact points here are less developed. They are placed here as a starting point for future conceptual exploration only.
