Traditional software development workflows rely heavily on fragmented tools for coding, communication, debugging, and task management, leading to inefficiencies in distributed team collaboration. This paper presents SyncLab, an AI-powered real-time collaborative Integrated Development Environment (IDE) designed to unify coding, communication, project management, and intelligent assistance into a single web-based platform. The system integrates WebSocket-based real-time synchronization, Operational Transformation (OT) algorithms for concurrent editing consistency, AI-powered coding assistance using Google Gemini, and collaborative task management features. The platform is developed using React.js, Node.js, Fastify, PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud-native infrastructure technologies. Experimental evaluation demonstrates reduced collaboration latency, improved developer coordination, minimized merge conflicts, and enhanced productivity for distributed teams. The proposed platform highlights the effectiveness of integrating real-time collaboration with AI-driven development support in modern software engineering environments.
