ABSTRACTAn easy, sensitive, correctand precise spectrophotometric procedure has been created andconfirmed to concurrently identify drug Nebivolol and Cilnidipine in bulk and tablet dosageform by Q Absorption ratio method. The proposed method uses ethanol as solvent. We found thatNebivolol and Cilnidipine absorb light of 280 and 241nm respectively by scanning the lightwavelengths between 200 and 400nm. To estimate it using the Q-analysis method, twowavelengths were used depending on spectral properties of the drugs. The λmax was determinedto be 241 nm and an isoabsorptive point that was shared by both drugs was discovered at 266nm. Further analysis and calculation were done using the selected wavelengths. The methoddisplays the findings of both nebivolol HCl and Cilnidipine over a specific range ofconcentrations: 1-5μg/mL of Nebivolol HCl with a correlation coefficient of 0.9979 and 2-10μg/mL of Cilnidipine with a correlation coefficient of 0.999. The method developed wasconfirmed to be valid according to ICH guidelines regarding linearity, precision (methodprecision and intermediate precision), accuracy (recovery study), LOD and LOQ. It is anHigh Technology Letters appropriate method, to analyze the samples of mixed dose forms of Nebivolol and Cilnidipine, interms of quality control.
