The Substrate Interpretation of Physics

Unified Substrate Theory (UST) is built on a simple idea: everything in the physical world—matter, energy, fields, waves, forces, and interactions—comes from patterns and excitations in a universal underlying substrate. Earlier versions of this record introduced UST formally, including the mathematical framework, derivations, and technical papers that lay out the structure of the theory in full detail. This version is different. It presents UST as a complete, easy‑to‑read book that explains the theory in plain language from start to finish. It walks through what the substrate is, how waves and fields behave inside it, how stable matter forms, how forces arise, and how energy moves through the system. Each part of physics is connected back to the substrate so the reader can see how the entire picture fits together. The goal of this release is clarity. It provides the full conceptual explanation of UST without math, written so that anyone familiar with basic physics can read straight through and understand how the theory works as a whole. The technical and mathematical versions already exist in earlier releases; this version is meant to stand alongside them as the complete, detailed, readable explanation of the ideas behind the formalism.
