This study is mainly focused on discussing the work life balance of primary school female teachers of Kamrup district. The research problem addressed under this study is to investigate the relationship between work-life-balance and the selected variable that is locality . The data for the present study was collected from 125 respondents in primary school in Kamrup district of Assam by administrating a self- structured questionnaire, which consisted of 25 statements with 5 point Likert scale. The data analysis with the help of using SPSS. The results of the study emphasize that the majority of the female teachers have average level of work life balance. The study concluded that Work/personal life enhancement (WPLE) had a positive effect on the female teacher at primary level of Kamrup district of Assam. This study may give insight regarding the problem that teachers usually face. Balance should be established between workload distribution, time and extra-curricular activities so as to inculcate efficiency among teachers.
