The next major release of EPrints boasts a host of improvements and new features. EPrints 3v5 beta was demonstrated last year at OR, since then further work to refine it has been completed. This includes reworking of how various key data fields are modelled, specifically those that relate to people such as creators and editors, and organizations such as funders and publishers. A new powerful 'contributions' field allows for these entities to be modelled in a more consistent, rich, and more as first class actors in the repository.
