An evaluation was carried out in advance of proposed residential development, comprising the investigation of thirty-eight trial trenches distributed across the c.4.2ha site. Ten trenches, mostly located across the middle of the site, contained the remains of boundary four ditches and two pits dating to the post-medieval period. These features all relate to the 19th-century agricultural fieldscape, as shown on historic mapping, and to activity within it. No archaeological features, deposits or finds of earlier date were identified.
