これらの手法は spacefield(Skyfield ベース、JPL DE440s 使用)を用いて実装され、Stella.me OS 上で動作確認済みである。 --- English Astrological software has standardized the function of generating a horoscope for a specific datetime, but the question of how to physically define a representative datetime for a period — such as "this month's transit" or "this year's transit" — or a representative celestial position when the birth time is unknown, has not previously been explicitly posed. Conventionally, astrologers have selected arbitrary dates (the first of the month, mid-month, the new moon, the full moon) without a unified, reproducible basis. This paper proposes two solutions to this shared question — "how should a representative value be physically defined?" For the representative datetime of a period transit, we formalize the Angular Midpoint Method, applied when the period length is 31 days or less (adopting the moment at which the Sun crosses the angular midpoint of the ecliptic longitudes at the period's start and end), and the Kinematic Average Method, applied when the period exceeds 31 days (using a weighted average longitude derived from adaptive sampling). We document the handling of edge cases including stationary points and the 360-degree boundary. Second, for estimating the Moon's zodiacal sign when the birth time is unknown, we propose two physically grounded alternatives to the conventional and poorly justified "two-point reference at 0:00 and 24:00" approach: the Longest Zodiacal Residence Method and the Meridian Transit Time Method. We show that both problems are different manifestations of the same underlying question: how to define a representative state over a given period. We further show that these methods generalize beyond the geocentric observation center to any of twelve barycentric observation centers, and we present an automatic rule for switching the reference body according to the observation center, together with a framework for extending the short-term/long-term boundary to planet-specific time scales. These methods have been implemented using spacefield (built on Skyfield, using JPL DE440s) and verified in operation within Stella.me OS. While the underlying computational formulas are drawn from established astronomical computation, the contribution of this paper lies in the fact that they have been applied to the representative-value problem in astrological computation and formalized and implemented as a unified computational method.
