This study analyzed the effects of demonstration breaking experience on self-confidence and achievement motivation among adolescent taekwondo trainees. A survey was conducted with 300 trainees from taekwondo schools in five metropolitan cities nationwide. Results showed that the demonstration breaking experience group scored significantly higher in self-confidence and achievement motivation compared to the non-experience group. Greater frequency and longer duration of demonstration breaking experience resulted in larger psychological effects. Self-confidence was found to partially mediate the relationship between demonstration breaking experience and achievement motivation. These findings suggest that demonstration breaking serves as an effective educational tool for adolescents' psychological development.
