CLEARWATER BEACH, Fla. — After a violent incident occurs on campus and the perpetrator has been taken into custody, it's only natural to breathe a collective sigh of relief. But that doesn’t mean it's all over or that everyone can or will go back to normal right away. In fact, institutional leaders should have a proactive plan in place to manage other threats, concerns, and challenges that may emerge from the incident. That's according to Gene Deisinger, Ph.D., President of Deisinger Consulting, LLC, a threat management expert who spoke at Stetson University's National Conference on Law and Higher Education.
